I have home-schooled three children for brief periods to assess their abilities when the schools graded them lower than their abilities. While earning my bachelor's degree, I worked in several tutoring programs assisting students with reading comprehension and writing composition skills. I taught grammar to small groups, read one-on-one with third graders and assisted junior high school students with their homework assignments.
