I have earned a BS in Biology/Microbiology and a certificate in Industrial Biotechnology I am quite comfortable with classes of different sizes, at different levels, and with various teaching styles. Early in my career, I received a position as a professor in microbiology, data-based approach to teaching introductory courses to students.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always wanted to teach. When I was a child I would round up the kids in my neighborhood and make them do lessons that I created. I do remember they did not like that. I went to college and earned a BS in Biology always knowing that I would eventually teach the sciences. I was an excellent student and have always found pride in myself on my ability to communicate with clearity. I have one year of tutoring experience at the k-12 level. Attaining a degree in the sciences has helped me to develop key writing as well as key listening skills. I am very capable of tutoring in most subjects.

I have recently completed a Master of Arts in Teaching, where I concentrated on secondary biology. I have a Bachelor of Arts in biological anthropology with a minor in biology. My educational background enabled me to have a strong background in biology, but also in mathematics and all sciences including chemistry.
