A Little Bit About Me...

As a composer and performer, with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Theory and Composition, I have always sought to teach music from the bottom up. As a master teacher, with a Master of Science Degree in Music Education, I have worked to develop my own programs and courses of study that teach to any curriculum.
I have worked hard over many years to asses the needs of individual students. Firstly, I assess the learning level and learning style of the student over the first week or two. Secondly, I approach the teaching style according to those findings. Thirdly, I assess the progress of the student in relation to the teaching style and make any necessary changes in approach. As a member of the Wellesley community and past student at St. Sebastians school, I have learned to achieve at an extremely high level of education. My teachers have showed me how to succeed in school and strive for the best. I have been extremely interested in Music and the arts for many years now. I would enjoy working with children as for I work very well with them.
I enjoy working with kids of all ages very much. As my summer job, I teach children from ages 4 to 21 how to play tennis. This has helped make me the person I am today in many ways. I am very patient and easy going and I am considerate of others as well. I am confident in my abilities and I think I would be a great fit for you as a teacher, friend, or mentor.
