Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I have been a certified Sign Language interpreter for 2 years. My wife is also a certified interpreter and both of her parents are Deaf.

I have been a certified interpreter for 3 years working in the school system as well as theatre, business meetings, medical appointments, and conferences. My wife is also a certified interpreter and both of her parents are Deaf - ASL was her first language. We both love ASL and the Deaf community. I have taught a variety of skills and ages, from 1st graders in piano lessons to elderly adult immigrants learning the English language. I have a desire to meet people on their level and encourage them grow. I strive for an atmosphere that is both positive and structured that is a help to both my students and their parents.
I am a recent college graduate with a bachelor's degree in TESOL. While a senior in college, I taught an intermediate ESL class for a semester and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a child of two educators, it has always been my passion to teach.
