As a Hiram College student I feel I have gained a great deal of knowledge through a combination of learning from excellent instructors and having a variety of teaching experiences. I student taught tenth grade for a semester during my senior year of college at West Geauga High School. This experience was very valuable and prepared me for working with students in a variety of ways. My style of teaching is adaptive for each individual student when possible. Each student has their own way of learning and it is my job to adjust to that. I try to meet the student where they are right now and devise a plan to fit what they want to do and accomplish the goals that they set.
