My comments on tutoring Continuing Education : I have a PhD in Educational Leadership, a master's in English, and have taught at a four-year university and a two-year college. I have also worked with HS students in college preparation skills.

I tutor based on the individual's learning needs. I have encountered some that were visual learners ad everything had to be drawn/written out. I have also tutored students that can have me explain it and they grasp it easily. My teaching style changes according to the needs of the student because not every one learns the same. I do believe Accounting is a complex field and the student has to have an interest in the field to truly be successful in retaining what they are taught.
