A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate of Syracuse University (December 2009) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, I am very familiar with the concepts taught in most Mathematics and Physics courses. I was a peer tutor for two years at Syracuse tutoring in the following subjects: Calculus I, II, and III, Probability, Statistics, Differential Equations, Physics I and II, Thermodynamics, and Fluid Mechanics. This has enabled me to hone my tutoring style to a point where it is concise yet readily understandable (something that is especially easy since I was very recently in the same position many of the students are right now).

I graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Physics. I am currently a graduate student at SUNY Albany in the Physics Ph.D program. I have officially been a physics lab TA for one year, however before that I have helped many friends and acquaintances in physics and general math. I received a 770/800 on the GRE math test, and so far after 1 year of graduate study I have a 4.0 and have passed all of the Ph.D qualifying exams.
Generally in my experience I have a higher level of understanding of basic principles than my peers. This puts me in a position of frequently helping others understand subtleties of the material.
