Love Kids, Love Writing.

In high school, I was on our school's speech team, I competed at the varsity level all throughout high school. I placed at every competetion, without fail. I placed in advanced English classes in high school, and tested in to the second level of English classes at Western Illinois University my freshman year. I have won state wide writing competetions, and have a poem published in a book of young writers. I went to school for Journalism and Communications, but am currently taking a year off. I have also taken and passed the Illinois basic skills test, and took 2 years of Special Education courses at Western Illinois University.
I believe each student is different; therefore, I change how I approach my teachings based upon the individual.

Working with children always has been and always will be a passion of mine. Prior to deciding that I would focus my attention on becoming a child psychologist I contemplated following in the footsteps of a number of my most influential role models: teachers. In my eyes, there's both a monumental responsibility and a fulfillment beyond words when you have been entrusted to educate our youth.
