I would prefer the library, just because it is big and open. The library in Tooele is a great example. It has rooms that can be used. I would prefer tutoring no more than 10 students at a time. If I can get a copy of the lesson before hand, I can be prepared.
Most of the subjects I have selected I passed with an 85% or better. I also did some tutoring in high school for other students. If I didn't learn it, I am most likely to figure out what is going on. It helps to know before hand what the lesson and subject is, just so I can remember what it is and to be more prepared.

Give Real life experience a try

Hands on approaches mixed with worldly knowledge, and a very patient style.
Experience throughout school, work and personal experience dealing with the mentally challenged and dyslexia. my best friend had a son who was dyslexic and also he had ADD and I got him to trust me in babysitting and I taught him various things. I taught him how to read and write he could not accomplish that on his own. He was 11 at the time and I think with kids you have to be creative to teach them and I am very creative. I also have an aunt who is mentally handicapped, and I love spending time with her she is a very giving person. They teach me and it is always a joy to work with them and give something back.

My comments on tutoring Homework Help : I did have troubles in school with homework and I will help those who are also struggling. I will teach them the things that I learned to help do homework.

Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I personally, have taught many people the basics of guitar and gave them the tools to excel in music.

As a Clemson graduate, I understand the importance of education. I have written many technical reports and research papers relevant to both of my degrees and my professional career. A Little Bit About Me...

Education has been an integral part of my life. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Business and Accounting and a MBA in Business and Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Most of my teaching experience has come from my volunteer assignments in religious activities, however, I was also a trainer for Select Health where I taught individuals concepts and applications applicable to the health insurance industry. As imagined, I have learned the appropriate rules in writing papers throughout my educational experience.
I do not believe there is one teaching style for every child. Therefore, my teaching method will vary depending on the needs of the individual. I do like to teach using visual aids, chalkboard, and scenarios. I also feel that positive reinforcement of successful accomplishments are critical in creating a strong foundation in learning. With my Associates degree, I spent over 12 years working in the accounting field. I developed many accounting skills and talents for which I was not fully recognized. One of the main reasons for this was because I didn’t have a Bachelor’s degree. I resolved this deficiency by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2002 while maintaining a full time job and a 3.79 GPA. Many of my past professors and employers have commented positively on my accounting abilities. One professor told me I had the heart of an accountant, another said that I had a natural ability for accounting. A former employer told me I was the best accountant he had ever had. I now have over two years of work experience with my 4 year degree. Due to my accounting abilities in College I had several students ask me to tutor them which I did and enjoyed immensely.

My favorite thing about teaching math is watching those students who once believed they were incapable of doing math become successful in mathematics. I love working with students, particularly at the secondary level, and believe that math is something to get excited about. I firmly believe that students should be guided on a path of discovery when learning math and they should explore where different math ideas came from and why they work. Students should also be given ample practice in order to master their skills, but not blindly following algorithms. I believe that if students are shown why the math works, they will be better able to perform necessary tasks on homework and tests without resorting to memorizing steps. I also believe that it is my job as the teacher to continue learning and progressing myself.
I began teaching algebra and geometry at a junior high in the fal ... read more

As a master level graduate, I learned that I love to gain knowledge, the more I learned the more, I wanted to help other learn as well. I have always had a love for numbers and formulas and have enjoyed teaching accounting, algebra, finance, & economics.
I have always loved working with mathematics and numbers. I experienced different teaching styles in high schools and found that when you work directly with students they learn the best. I believe working on the blackboard and playing games with the students is the best ways for them to learn in classroom stitutations and working one on one in tutoring them
