I have a bachelor's degree in computer science. This helped me out also in math, since the requirements for the degree required many math classes, including 3 calculus classes. I have tutored and helped students with math before that were a junior high to high school level. I also have lived in a foreign country where Spanish was the native language. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Master of Arts degree in English from Utah State University and have taught EFL overseas and within the US. Recently (from 07-08), I worked as a Math Tutor for challenged fifth graders and also for Kindergarteners part-time at Lincoln Elementary in Layton while my son was in pre-school. I am competent in elementary math and sincerely enjoy helping others to find the inherent beauty of numbers and what they can do.
I love kids - they are often sweet, funny, easily impressed and are a great audience.
