A Little Bit About Me...

Upon graduation from West Virginia University I received a BS degree in Forensic and Investigative Science with an emphasis in Chemistry and Examination. The emphasis means that I have chemistry qualifications required to perform analysis in a lab. I have taken everything from Chemistry in high school to several courses beyond Organic I and II. I was a member of the NHS and had the responsibility of tutoring students in high school level math, chemistry, and biology. During my internship with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, I aided in teaching courses to a youth group centered around Forensics. This past semester I worked as a Teaching Assistant and taught a general organic chemistry lab.

My experience as a Young Life Leader has given me the joy of mentoring high school students for 5 years. I have taught students ranging from different levels of Gardner's Multiple Intelligences as well as varying socioeconomic status.
