In my acedemic training I have taught Lab classes in general, analytical, organic, biochemistry and advanced chemistry courses. As part of my training I have been instructed in Mathmatics to the level of Calculus. I am currently volunteering as editor for ttwo newsletters for non-profit organizations. I have wrote several publications including a Master's thesis and a Ph.D tthesis.I have a background in biology at the undergraduate level as well. I teach by example, leading the student through a problem by asking questions about each step so that they can learn how to approach the problem themselves. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and I love all people. I am an advocate of task-based learning, multiple intelligences, and the all-around inductive/constructivist approach to learning. I am a firm believer in the idea that all people have the same innate capacity to learn, but that this is manifested in different ways.
