I love working with children of all ages. I understand that all children have a different way of learning, which does not make them "special", but unique as individuals. I am very patient, considerate, and understanding of each child's differences. My aim is to provide a safe atmosphere for each child so that they know they are not being judged for what they do not know, but are being praised for their uniqueness, perseverence, and innate intellegence. I believe that given the proper opportunities, every child can discover a love for learning, despite any setbacks they might have had previously. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a well qualified music teacher. My teaching experience has been in the classroom and privately. I earned my BA in music and was trained vocally for six years in sacred and secular styles of music. I also was trained for fourteen years in piano. More recently, I have taught piano and voice privately. I am experienced with the organ and saxaphone as well.
I love working with children and adults of all ages. I have taught preschoolers and adults. I am patient and attend to the student's individual needs. No lesson is the same for any one student. My goal is to teach the subject material and also make the experience enjoyable. Music takes a lot of practice and repetition which brings about the foundation for quality music education.
