In high school I went up to A.P. Spanish and would often tutor or help my classmates and younger students in lower level Spanish. I also tutored one young man in Great Bridge until he just lost interest and his mother didn't want to pay for tutoring for a class he didn't like. I also have a four year old daughter to whom I speak Spanish to and have taught basic Spanish to. I currently hold a BA in Spanish with a minor in Secondary Education. Through my experience at O.D.U. I have learned a great deal about Spanish culture, literature, and about the technical aspect of the language (I took a phonetics and introduction to linguistics course).

My teaching style includes utilizing tactile kinesthetic activities allowing students to learn using a hands-on experience while learning.
