A Little Bit About Me...

At Amherst College, we were encouraged to pursue a wide variety of subjects in addition to our major. I studied math for several years, some Biology, Latin and Greek. I had a semester of graduate school at Iowa in Classics. At Tulane, I studied advanced statistics as well as marketing. I had two years of Spanish at DMACC. I also studied Bosnian and German at DMPS Continuing Education. For all standardized tests, I always scored in the top 1% including the PSAT, SAT, ACT and GMAT. I have been tutoring students in Spanish, English Literature, Chemistry, Math and Government.

My undergraduate and graduate education has given me the tools needed to excel as a student and given me the needed skills to tutor students in English and writing. My education required extensive fiction and research writing, as well as a vast exposure to dramatic, fiction and nonfiction literature.
