A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that children all come with different levels of cognition. Therefore, each child has their own learning pace. I like to give a child the time that he needs in order to accomplish his goal in learning. I have patience and am understanding--this would be a great benefit in working with children who need a little extra help in their studies.
I recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Human Development. However, before Human Development was my major, it was English Language. Through my four years at a major university, I have learned how to properly write research essays, what sources are credible for essays, and essay format. I also have had a pet-peeve for words that are incorrecly spelled and when there are grammatical errors in something professionally done.

A Little Bit About Me...

As I prepared for Medical School, I wanted to achieve the most possible out of my undergraduate experience at Brigham Young University. I chose Biology as my major, knowing that it would challenge me. I took several courses in Biology and Chemistry in which I performed very well. I understand how frustrating the concepts in these subjects can be, so patience is what is needed to grasp them. I have helped several fellow classmates comprehend the concepts needed to do well on their exams and retain the information for the future.
I feel that repetition is one key that helps students grasp difficult concepts. I start by helping the student understand what the question is asking.
