My teaching style may vary depending on the student. I would have to get a feel of what the child like and dislike about the subject he or she is struggling in. I would also want to obtain a list of goals or expectations from the student's parents in order to implement a plan that will aid both the student and I to accomplish the targeted goal. Each student is different and might require more assistance than others, so in practice, the more the student works at a problem the better he/she becomes. In some cases remediation could be in order and if so, take home practice work could be in order.
