My comments on tutoring Economics : Have had limited experience teaching.

My method of tutoring is to work with students where they are and add to their skills, to accomplish the final outcome, preferably an "A" or "B." Some students are visual learners and some are informational learners, or some students combine the two. The potential I see in students is what I try to bring out and have them realize they are capable of going a step further, to reach their goal. The importance of education and the students' continuance of same cannot be stressed enough.
I started out tutoring elementary students in basic math and English grammar while I attended college part time in the 1980's. I continued tutoring young students and adults in the 1990's, tutoring Basic Math, Basic and Intermediate Algebra, Basic Geometry, English Composition, Speech, Study Skills and the Sciences. A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching others and helping them excel in their studies. I can relate to younger students because I have a six year old who required extensive help in the area of reading. She was one of my greatest achievements because I had to research a way to communicate on her level of understanding and yet make it interesting and fun. I think the best way to teach is to show students how they can break down problems and find answers to questions that may, at first glance, seem overwhelming. I have yet to meet someone who is incapable of grasping a subject, and I am able to stay calm and remain patient as students begin to expand their knowledge in areas that are new to them.
