Confidence creates an interest in learning

I have taught students ranging fro pre-school to 12th grade and also tutored at the unversity level. I feel most confident with students ranging from 3rd to 6th grade and at the college level or older. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : I thoroughly enjoy one to one time teaching reading to my students. Discovering what interests them is exciting!

I have taught in both public and private school settings. In the public school setting I was a Resource Room Teacher for students with varied learning and behavior needs. I was responsible for writing and implementing each student's IEP's. In addition I created an optimal learning environment for them. In the private setting I taught for a number of years one to one reading instruction for elementary age students.
