I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a BS in Marketing Communications. My minor area of study while at River Falls was Psychology, and over the course of my college career, my interest in the topic has developed into a career goal. I plan to return to UW River Falls this Fall to earn a Mater's degree in School Psychology. For the past six years I have taught and coached Swimming and Diving lessons to children ages 4-16. A Little Bit About Me...

As an instructor at Minnesota School of Business, I taught composition, business writing, technical writing, English grammar, and communication theory to adult students of all ages and a wide variety of backgrounds, including many ESL students. In a class of 20 students, writing ability ranged from negligible to excellent, so it was a challenge to keep all of them interested and to ensure improvement across the board. Since leaving MSB, I have tutored several ESL students in writing and grammar, mostly online. I continue to write and edit professionally.
I prefer a casual learning environment, one that includes appropriate humor and an appreciation for students' individuality.
