Online Music Lessons and Elementary Test Prep/Homework Help

I am currently a general music teacher at Samsula Academy, an elementary school in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I teach general music classes to students in grades K-5, as well as chorus and band. I received my Bachelor's degree from Marywood University in Scranton, PA and began my Master's studies at University of Central Florida. Having parents that place a great emphasis in achieving higher education, I graduated from high school with the age of 15 years old and was accepted in National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan, for the degree in Life Science Biology. A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer to work with children who have learning disabilities and/or with a dislike for education. I find that my teaching style is interesting to this particular type of student. I acknowledge the childs dismay in learning and I allow them to help me to adjust the teaching material to a teaching style that best suits the childs learning style. Science and english are subjects that many children don't enjoy. I make it much easier for them to learn the subject and then we expound thier knowledge from there.
I graduated from UCF with a Bachelors in Communicative Disorders (speech therapy). I love english and science and found this to be a perfect mix. I worked with children with language delays in group settings and also tutored children individually. I am currently in the process of obtaining my teaching certificate in science and working towards my masters degree.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a teacher that teaches by showing examples and explaining. I encourage my students to ask questions and I don't mind going over a problem again and again until a student gets the full understanding of what is being asked. I want my students to feel comfortable enough to ask me questions, because that is how they learn.
I am currently the Math Coach at a local Middle School. I have been in the educational field for thirteen years as a math teacher.
