I taught English in Korea, Italy, and finally China. I taught in several settings including classroom, individual tutoring, business meetings, and summer camp. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Masters degree in Accounting from Miami University, I began working full-time for a local certified public accounting firm. While working I continued studying and earned my license to practice public accounting in April, 2010 by passing all parts of the CPA exam. During my time at Miami, I was employed by the University as a Supplemental Instructor (SI). As an SI, I provided regularly scheduled, out-of-class sessions in a beginning accounting class and realized that I had the ability to help others learn.
