I graduated from WKU with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and during this time I worked at an elementary school during their after school program helping tutor and supervise the children. After I graduated, I substituted for several school districts in mostly elementary grades, but I also worked in middle & high school. I am currently working half-time as a reading intervention teacher. My strongest subject is math and english. I believe it is very important for children to learn to enjoy the process of learning. Every child learns and relates to new information differently, so teachers must use appropriate teaching strategies to ensure the success of their students.
