A Little Bit About Me...

As an experienced Doctor and Teacher, I am dedicated to enabling individuals to set and attain life goals. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with emphasis on Biological Sciences and Earth Sciences. I was a teacher in the public school system for 6 years. I taught Science from grade 7 through senior level, encompassing Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics. I went on to Medical School, where I got my Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. During Medical School, I was a tutor at Greenbrier Community College in the areas of Math and Science. I feel comfortable tutoring students of all ability levels, whether it is introductory or advanced.

A Little Bit About Me...

I received a BS degree in chemistry and a minor in applied biology. My original thought was to attend medical school (I even took the MCAT), but decided to persue a PhD in inorganic chemistry instead. I have extensive experience in working with students. I worked as an organic chemistry lab assistant as an undergraduate. During graudate school, I taught both general and analytical chemistry. I am currently teaching chemistry classes at Terra State Community College.
I believe that anyone can understand the subject matter if it is presnted to them in a way that fits their unique learning style. I can demonstrate several ways to learn the same material, and have learned through my years of teaching experience how to quickly identify which method is best understood by an individual.
