My comments on tutoring Microsoft PowerPoint : Have been using PowerPoint professionally for over ten years.

I am extremely patient and clear. In my mind, there is no such thing as someone who cannot learn; it is my job to adjust my teaching style for multiple learning styles. Because I also have experience working with special needs clients as well as clients in rehabilitation, I am especially capable of dealing with more challenging learning situations. I am also take a rather lighthearted approach, and try to make the process as fun, yet as precise as possible, with markers for different points in the learning process. An enthusiastic tutor with a PhD in chemistry!

I have found through my 6 years of teaching students, that flexibility is a key component. Explaining a difficult concept to a student should be customized to each individual students' needs. I encourage students to always ask questions even if they think they are stupid. Everyone has to ask those questions at some point in their career! One of the most important goals of my teaching is to help the student grasp the concept of the subject, to help them apply that knowledge throughout their course.
