An enthusiastic tutor with a PhD in chemistry!

I have a PhD and Masters in Chemistry, and have taught courses both at the undergraduate and graduate level. I am an expert in organic, analytical and geochemistry, with experiencing teaching at all levels in those subjects. My comments on tutoring Microsoft PowerPoint : Have been using PowerPoint professionally for over ten years.

I am extremely patient and clear. In my mind, there is no such thing as someone who cannot learn; it is my job to adjust my teaching style for multiple learning styles. Because I also have experience working with special needs clients as well as clients in rehabilitation, I am especially capable of dealing with more challenging learning situations. I am also take a rather lighthearted approach, and try to make the process as fun, yet as precise as possible, with markers for different points in the learning process. My comments on tutoring Microsoft PowerPoint : Business computing class.

I have helped tutor AVID high school students when I was a senior at Cherry Creek High School. I enjoy helping the kids learn and believe that being a tutor would pay it forward since I had so much help from tutors. I always helped my friends out because I was in higher level classes than them some of the times. I also worked with tutors and know how much of a difference they can make. I'm currently studying at CSU and still work with friends on homework if they need help.
I believe in success. There is no guarantee someone will learn on the first try. It's all about enjoying the learning experience and positive reinforcement. I also believe in humor and think that it can help a lot in peoples difficult situations.
