I enjoy teaching very much. I think a strength trying to use a student's active content or prior knowledge to connect to material. My attempts are always to make the student feel empowered by the education process. Students learn differently, and I try to find each student’s comfort zone for learning. The importance of education has always been clear to me. I was born into a middle class family without a lot of resources. It became obvious to me that if I desired to pursue higher education I would have to qualify for scholarships and grants.
