Since my years as an undergraduate student, one of my passions has always been giving back to the community through tutoring and mentoring. I was a parent volunteer in my children's elementary school for 4 to 5 years. I was a substitute teacher in grades 1 thru 4. I tutuored my two children for two years. While at Salisbury University, I studied Environmental Issues and firmly believe in the theory I learned that education in the beginning for everything. I have always loved learning, and as a result, I also pursued a minor in Chemistry, for the sheer love of science.
