As of right now I do not have my teaching certicifate, however, I do plan on going back to school to get my certificate. When I was tutoring I had to multi-task between students. At first, the task was difficult but I eventually got used to it.
While I was an undergraduate at Marshall University, I was asked by my thesis professor to help out in the tutoring center provided by the college of math. While I was there I helped students with their math courses ranging from college algebra to upper levels of calculus and differential equations. I believe that my teaching style is very hands on and easy to follow. I have the ability of simplifying statistical and mathematical procedures into easier, more understandable terms. I am very patient and this allows me to better adapt to a child's specific learning needs and education level. My best teachers were the one's that made me feel comfortable asking questions and admitting when I do not fully understand a concept.
