I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice. As former ringmaster for the Greatest Show on Earth, I have performed more than 2000 shows with Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Most of my experience comes from a professional hands-on approach in performing, costume designing and constructing. Although I had been temporarily enrolled in an art institute in Atlanta Ga, I am a self read, self taught muralist whose training has come from years of learning and perfecting my craft.

After two years of that, I started a school within a school for at-risk students. The last two years of my career I helped to pilot and then implement single gender classrooms school-wide. I progressed to teaching English, Spanish, and some Special Education Resource classes at the High School level, and continued to teach lower level English classes at a local college along with reading in an Adult Continuing Education program through another college. My writing skills have been sharpened as I edited and wrote articles for newsletters, newspaper releases, and in an administrative capacity.
