I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice. As former ringmaster for the Greatest Show on Earth, I have performed more than 2000 shows with Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Most of my experience comes from a professional hands-on approach in performing, costume designing and constructing. Although I had been temporarily enrolled in an art institute in Atlanta Ga, I am a self read, self taught muralist whose training has come from years of learning and perfecting my craft.

When I taught German I conducted my class almost completely in German (the beginner level), and while this would seem difficult for the students to learn my students scored excellently on their tests. With enough support that they are capable of doing it and flexibility on the side of the teacher, a student can achieve whatever their goals may be, without having the bored of memorization.

I am a hands on kind of teacher. I like to find ways to make teaching come to life and be a fun and enjoyable experience for the student. The more one on one I can be the better. With my Bachelor's degree, I began tutoring through Reading Success and conducted private tutoring of Georgia History. I progressed to teaching English, Spanish, and some Special Education Resource classes at the High School level, and continued to teach lower level English classes at a local college along with reading in an Adult Continuing Education program through another college. My writing skills have been sharpened as I edited and wrote articles for newsletters, newspaper releases, and in an administrative capacity.
I enjoy teaching and do my best to make learning fun and easy for my pupils. I approach lessons by letting the student realize how and why the lesson is important and how it relates to their lives.
