My comments on tutoring Math : More than 2 decades of teaching experience.

I use a variety of teaching styles to involve students in the learning process: in traditional and computer-mediated classroom settings, and over the internet. The traditional teaching style (face-to-face interaction) was blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for a boosted learning environment. Microsoft (MS) Excel 2010, MegaStat 9.1, and SPSS (version 18) were incorporated as technology tools and software support during lecture meetings. A Little Bit About Me...

I understand that math can sometimes be a very ambiguous subject for many people. For instance, a lot of times it just looks like things can magically happen without a very good underlying explanation, and to overcome that I try to really break things down and pull things apart, sometimes with real life examples, physical examples and even just showing the student exactly where the "magic" part is coming from. My tutoring experience has helped me to realize that not all students understand things the same way so it is inherent that you can teach using different methods especially when it comes to subjects like math.

My comments on tutoring Math : I can explain math concepts in a very easy-to-understand way. I'm extremely patient and make sure that people follow along with what I'm saying.

I've tutored several people with math and homework problems. They have always reported more understanding from me than their teachers, and were very satisfied with the lessons. The lessons were always in-house, but I am capable of helping online as well. Some were 1 lesson, while others were lessons over the course of several weeks to help prepare and pass exams.
