My comments on tutoring Creative Arts : Creative individual. Trained and experienced in a variety of creative arts.

Devon is able to focus his tutoring on a particular craft if it is what his clients desire. For example, teaching the intricacies of sand-molding for bronze casting. For most hobbyists, and passive artists this would be the recommended path. However as he was educated, he prefers to leave the doors of possibility open. Art today is extremely interdisciplinary, and it often requires one to design their intended product, and then research materials and processes in order to execute it. If clients want to pursue a career as an artist, this approach is recommended.
Devon was trained at the Art Institute of Chicago in a variety of fine arts. Sculpture is his primary focus, but he also has experience in painting/drawing, design, film/video, performance, and art-tech. I attended Northeastern Illinois University and obtained a B.A. degree in Elementary & Special Education, with honors. My first job, straight out of college was as an Educational Consultant. I trained teacher how to us computers to install educational programs for their students. After four years I was transfered to Florida. I resigned after a year and returned to Chicago. Around the mid 80's I relocated to Puerto Rico and work as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher. After two years I returned to Chicago and work in a respite care unit as a special education teacher. After two years, relocated again to Atlanta, Ga. It was there that I discovered my love for teaching kindergaten children and a 4th grade special education class.
