My comments on tutoring Creative Arts : Creative individual. Trained and experienced in a variety of creative arts.

Devon is able to focus his tutoring on a particular craft if it is what his clients desire. For example, teaching the intricacies of sand-molding for bronze casting. For most hobbyists, and passive artists this would be the recommended path. However as he was educated, he prefers to leave the doors of possibility open. Art today is extremely interdisciplinary, and it often requires one to design their intended product, and then research materials and processes in order to execute it. If clients want to pursue a career as an artist, this approach is recommended.
Devon was trained at the Art Institute of Chicago in a variety of fine arts. I basically teach according to what the students like or is familiar with (art, sport, etc.) and I utilize what they're good at with the subject matter. For instance, if a student is into baseball, I teach math using scoring method, countries where players are from for social studies, speed of running, throwing, etc. for teaching science, and so on. With the younger students, I oberve them during choice time or free play and document what areas they are attracted to the most, how they interact with each other and their conversations. I use the data to help me develop and strenghten the abilities they exhibit.
