A Little Bit About Me...

At Adult Basic and Literature Education, I serve as a math and grammar tutor in the GED and ESOL programs. Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. For five years, I was a substitute teacher for grades K-5 in English as a Second Language, Special Education and Art classes. I used my communication skills to converse with and to translate Spanish/English language. Encouraging & Patient Elementary Tutor

After graduating High School early (Jan 2001) I did two semester at the University of Akron majoring in Political Science. After the events of 9/11 I enlisted in the US Navy (Jan 2002). I was trained at the prestigious Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Monterey CA, with follow up training in Texas. I then spent the next years working as an Arabic linguist and Intelligence Analyst at a Joint Service Operation. I specialized in Iraqi and Syrian Dialects. By 2006 I was a shift NCOIC (Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, basically a supervisor).
