My teaching style includes patience, listening and determination. While teaching at C.S. Lewis I not only taught but also learned. I believe that with children patience is necessary and primary. Then while you may be the teacher you also have to listen in order to instruct properly. Finally being determined because in teaching you have to not allow yourself to give up. Many times students become frustrated and want to quite, you have to be an example of not giving up. If you do this they will see you as an example and learn this behavior. Thus teaching by example, kids are sponges imitating adults and peers. I love children and enjoy working with them. A Little Bit About Me...

I have substitute taught in grades pre-k through eighth and I have taught in a public school for two years. I also taught summer school in 2010. My experiences have added to my ability to reach all learners as well as teach students about respect and diversity. I am intensely involved in my student’s lives by building a strong rapport with each student and their families.
