I am an electric engineering student at Tufts UNiversity, who graduated high school with a GPA of 4.2 and 11 AP classes.I have tutored mostly Math and physics and Chemistry to high school students, and all most all academic subjects to elementray school student. I like working with children and young people very much. I believe that teaching should always be student-centered. It is my goal to find what helps a person to learn and really work with that student's natural talent and personality. I am very patient and persistent. If necessary, I think it is okay to repeat information until the student is comfortable and confident that they have learned it. None of my family had gone to college, so it was predicted I would not either. I had a hunger to learn, so I systematically worked full-time and studied part-time, earning eight major degrees in cities where they alowed residency rquirements to be met in such a way. I was young and energetic, so it was a lot of work, but a joy. It took about 15 years to finally earn my doctorate. Along the way, I earned certification in a half dozen fields (especially loved English, social stuides, and psychology).
