My style of teaching includes visual explanation (white board or chalk board), oral discussion, and hands-on manipulation when ever possible. Tutoring is fundamentally different than lecturing because one interacts with one students. Therefore a tutor must adopt a style that most effectively communicates with the student. It is important to understand why the student is having difficulty mastering the subject. Most often I use an interlocution with the student.
