My comments on tutoring Elementary Phonics : I have been a certified Reading Teacher for over 11 years. I am also currently earning my level 1 certification in the Wilson Reading System. This is a systematic research based system to help students who struggle with phonics and phonemic awareness.

I am a certified teacher. I have taught for 11 years and have taught first through eighth grades. I enjoy teaching reading and writing to everyone. I have had some training in specialized reading training from the Wilson Academy and I am currently earning my certification for teaching students with reading difficulties. Education has always been my field of interest. When my children were young (8 and 4), I've been teaching in order to match my schedule with their school hours and vacations.
