In College I would form groups to try and study for upcoming test or exams. Doing this it really helped me to learn what I was studying and how other people learn as well.
Patients is a amazing thing to have when trying to teach. Many students learn at a different pace and I feel that finding that pace for every student is important. If you try to cram or learn something to quickly it only become heartache and bad grades.

I started tutoring at Sylvan at the high school level in math. After a year I became the Assistant Director of Education and comtinued to tutor in the evenings. This allowed me to create programs specific to each student. I tutored all subjects but enjoy working with high school algebra and geometry students the most.
