Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Creative Writing is my extreme passion. I've taken numerous creative writing classes in college and I'm currently working on writing my own fiction novel in my spare time.

I am a recent graduate of Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania (May 2011). I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in creative writing. I also have a minor in photography. During my time at Mercyhurst College, I worked as a writing tutor in the school’s writing center. When students entered the center, it was my job to immediately make them feel comfortable by greeting them with a friendly smile and asking what I could help them with. After this, the students’ explained their assignment and expressed any concerns they had or anything their professors wanted them to work on. A Little Bit About Me...

During my collegiate years, I learned that experience was just as important as obtaining my degree. Therefore, I worked during my college years in a school offering mentoring for young children. For the last two years, I have worked for a young adult mentoring program called Project Respect. I work as a classroom facilitator. My BA in Communications offers me experience in writing research papers, essays, preparing and delivering speeches, and developing creative case studies. Currently, I am working on my Masters in Science, which enables me to teach Science and Math classes, as well.

I taught for 32.5 years at Northwest Community Schools. Subjects taught Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade all subjects. Seventh Grade and Eighth Grade Science and Social Studies. Middle School Phys. Ed. 20 years Adult Ecucation. Subjects taught, American Government, U. S. History, Health Issues. I currently hold a Continuing Certificate from Mich. granted in 1978, and a Professional Certificate from Florida. I retired from Michigan Public Schools in 2006 with a pension, which includes health insurance. I then relocated in Phoenix, Arizona where I taught Fourth Grade for two years.
