Hello! I am currently a Historian for the U.S. Army. I hold a Bachelors degree in history from George Mason University as well as a Masters in history from the same institution. My last degree was completed in 2010. Since then, I have written professional book reviews published in Military Review Magazine and have three lengthy articles on the American Revolution, African American Women in the Military and the American Red Cross being published in 2012! I have taught overseas for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools.
History should be fun, plain and simple! There are so many fascinating facts about the history of our country. History is a story of ourselves and of the generations before us. It needs to be taught as such. Make it interesting and entertaining and students will listen!

I also think learning should be fun, so I use a lot of games and other incentives. I am patient, have a good sense of humor, and have age and the experience of being the mother of two twenty-somethings on my side.
