A Little Bit About Me...

I believe anyone can teach a subject, having enough knowledge of a subject allows one to pass it on. However, I feel what many teachers do not do is teach students how to learn. It is in my belief that teaching students to learn enables them to think independently allowing them to become more creative rather than repetitive. So not only do I teach students the subject, I teach them how to learn and apply it to every other subject.
As a accomplished student, I realized I always had help along the help with achieving academic success. From teachers and counselors to my peers and older students. We all have different ways of thinking and processing information and it is up to the tutor to read into student and decipher which stlye is best for the individual. A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate years, I was tutoring a local grade 4 student in math. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience in making a difference in somebody's life.
