I would describe my teaching style as being essentially constructivist. I strive to show students how the subject matter is relevant to them and help them see the benefit derived from mastering a subject area. I am a discussion based teacher. I prefer to engage the students higher level thinking with a questioning approach. I do not think that lecture or rote memorization are proper ways to educate a child.
