Being around children that ranged from ages from six to twelve I had to find many different ways to teach kids how to learn things such as history even though they had problems reading and math even though they were just learning how to count. So at the start I would try a visual approach because if they could see the problem they were doing they had a chance to get the number right. If they had problems reading I would break down a word looking for smaller words that they knew. So I would have to say my teaching style would be an adapting teaching style because not all children learn the same way.
I started to do community service back in November of 2009. After I was unable to find a job I stayed at the local Boys and Girls club as a volunteer.
