A Little Bit About Me...

I have had many experiences in education both during and after my college education. I have been put into many situations that have required using much of the curriculum content, classroom management, and lesson plan developing skills that I have acquired. I have a major in science, but I also have extensive mathematical skills due to the many math classes I have taken for my BS and while currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Accounting. I have had the opportunity to tutor students in math, science, reading, writing, and social studies.
I truly believe that as an educator you must establish a connection with your students. As a person who has grown up in Pakistan, studied in the UK and is now in US, I can communicate and understand different kinds of people. I have taught as a temporary teacher in a school called Education Bay in Karachi, Pakistan. I have also taught at a special children institute for 2 years in Karachi, Pakistan. I also taught voluntarily in university to those who were struggling with the subjects I was strong in. These include Mathematics, Economics, English and Accounting. I have strong grammatical skills as my degree required me to write many essays, reports and papers. I have also gotten published in DAWN Newspapers in Pakistan.
