A Little Bit About Me...

While I am not a teacher by profession, I spent much time in the academic support center at SUNY Cobleskill as a freshman tutoring students in different kinds of math. (ie: algebra,fractions, etc) and occasionally in english and science. I also had to lead several class discussions at grad school at times, teaching the readings or materials for that week. This included presentations and answering questions from the audience. However, my main interest would be in math or english (ie: reading and writing) because over the years I have found these to be invaluable tools. In a world of specialization, I tend to break the mold by having rather wide academic interests. I earned a bachelors degree in Religion, then went on to earn an MA in Theology. In between this period I did a semester of Analytic Philosophy while attending Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada CA. The nature of my studies has forced me to focus on worldview. I worked a year in the Tutoring Department located at Mohawk Valley Community College. This was an open lab which meant 3-4 students would need help at any one particular time period. Subject Help that I was required for involved Pre-Calculus, Calculus (I & II), Physics, Algebra, Trigonometry and basic electrical courses.
