My old next door neighbors have two children. One is a boy in elementary and one is a girl in middle school. I tutored the boy in reading and writing. He was able to read his first book on his own after a few weeks with me. I had to tutor the girl in math. she was taking algebra and was having a tough time with it. In two weeks of many meetings, she was able to pass her final exam. No matter what grade I was in, I always enjoyed going down to the ESE room and helping the special kids. I did what ever I could to help.

I am a very recent graduate of Penn State where academics are a main focus. I have a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Political Science and feel qualified to tutor in spelling, writing, English, reading and related subjects. I would tutor a student in other subjects on a case by case basis. I have written a lot of papers and am very good at grammar. I have been an English tutor to foreign adults and my students always do well and enjoy learning.
