I've enjoyed working with students of all ages, background and grade level in coursework such as Math,Science,Computer and Engineering courses from seventh grade through undergraduate college. By teaching concepts rather than memorization skills that usually bore the student I work with each student and their own "easiest way" of learning to increase skills and self-confidence. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is replete with visuals and drawing an analogy from nature to help understand abstract concepts of science. I strongly believe students can grasp ideas instantly once they are able to relate textual information (i.e in books ) to a graphical content. Be it Maths or Physics or Chemistry...every complex problem can be broken down to the bare fundamentals which is what I stress upon always. I have had some wonderful teachers in my life and I desire to be one like them.

The best teaching style in my opinion, explains how to research, plan and write essays, gives students time to practice these skills in class, and ensures students get feedback on how well they have done on each sub-skill. Students learn skills by using them in a realistic, subject-specific context, and in a combined way. So they might use other skills taught before such as note taking, highlighting, all in context. The purpose of the skills are stressed, students are taught not just what to do and how, but also why. The students then reflect on how well they used the skills, what gains they were getting and so on, and then they action plan for improvement.
