My comments on tutoring Math : I like to teach Math in creative, out of the box, methods in order to keep the interest of the child.

I received my degree in Early Childhood Development & Child Psychology in 1999. I tutored children from homeless shelters for 2 years. As I began helping & teaching my two daughters in every subject, and saw how well they were doing, I realized I could help so many other children. I then began teaching, tutoring & learning from pre-kinder to high school classes/students from that point to present. As for my daughters, one is a pre-med student in college & the other attends a health magnet. They encourage my teaching, telling me that I did a great job teaching & preparing them in their journeys to become successes in their futures. And I am happy to share that with others.

Combined from the different professors and instructors from my education career
Started learning CAD since high school. This involved starting from the basics of paper, pencil, and drafting tools for techniques. Conceptual hands on to be associated when moving into Computer Aided Drafting. Afterwards decided to complete certification in CAD and combine it with my Associate's in Mechanical Engineering Degree. Lets not forget that right after high school with the basics I was able to land a job through a internship and use the applied knowledge of CAD.

My comments on tutoring Math : I am an analytical person so that helps me with math.

I started working as a computer programmer. Then I became a computer operator/programmer using a main frame computer. I was in charge of all computer operations and I was also assigned programming projects. I also did a great deal of program testing and documentation. I also worked as a tutor at community college.
I let students asks all the questions they want if for some reason I don't have the answer I will look it up.

I was a theatre major in college, so you might be quick to think I was a flake or someone who just coasted by through college, but I graduated with a 3.7 GPA, receiving some of my best scores in Logic and History, but my favorite subject was Shakespearean literature.
